Persistent tilt monitoring for faster, Data-driven Responses
Detect critical ground and structural movements quickly with a purpose-built Tiltmeter. Sentra combines precision inclination sensing, on-device event processing, and long-range low-power communications so teams receive meaningful alerts — not noise — when movement matters most.
Tiltmeter Event Detection
Instantly detects angular shifts
On-board algorithms classify tilt events
Logged with time and magnitude for accurate trend analysis
Automatic notifications through gateway
Overview
The Sentra Tiltmeter — Event Detection edition is a compact, 3-axis inclinometer engineered to detect and report ground movements with low noise and fast latency. It runs continuous sampling in normal operation and switches to high-frequency capture when preset thresholds are exceeded, streaming event data to gateways and cloud platforms for rapid assessment and response. Configuration may be done locally via mobile tools or remotely through Sentra’s edge/cloud management layers.

Got Questions? We've Got Answers.
It tracks rapid or sudden inclination changes in structures, slopes, or rail systems — detecting motion that may signal instability, movement, or failure events in real time.
The sensor continuously measures tilt angles and uses built-in algorithms to trigger alerts instantly when thresholds are exceeded, capturing pre- and post-event data for detailed analysis.
It detects short-term tilt spikes from activities like excavation, blasting, or heavy traffic, as well as progressive shifts from soil movement, settlement, or structural deformation.
Events and tilt data are sent over LoRa/LoRaWAN to cloud or edge platforms, where alerts, logs, and visual dashboards help engineers review, analyze, and verify incidents remotely.
With long-life batteries and sealed IP68 construction, maintenance is minimal—routine checks typically involve verifying mounts, signal strength, and battery status.
Ideal for slopes, retaining walls, tunnels, bridges, and rail lines—anywhere fast, autonomous tilt event detection enhances safety and operational awareness.
